New regulation for energy saving certificates (EEC)
For the 5th period of energy saving certificates (EEC) for the period from 1 January 2022 to 31December 2025, the Minister for Ecological Transition indicated
that the amount of energy to be saved in EWCs for energy distributors increases by 12-14 per cent, i.e. 2,400-2,500 TWh cumac for the entire period 2022-2025.
The obligations of natural gas suppliers increase by 83 per cent, while those of electricity distributors decrease by 11 per cent. The energy landscape has changed, with all major distributors selling both gas and electricity, but in different proportions.
