Difficult negotiations between France and the Commission concerning EDF

EDF's planned spin-off (nuclear, renewable energy, dam), also known as the Hercules project, is the subject of difficult negotiations between the French government and the European Commission.

One of the subjects of deadlock would be the revalorisation of the price of nuclear electricity which would make it possible to finance investments in nuclear power. It is that this price increase could harm EDF's competitors.
