In brief in France: Total + Engie; Total in America; CVE buys three projects; Armor; S.Gilli changes activity

Total and Engie have concluded a 40 MW electrolyser project powered by a solar power plant.

by a 100 MWp solar power plant at the Châteauneuf-les-Martigues refinery in the PACA region. It will produce 5 tonnes of hydrogen per year, which will be used as biofuel for the La Mède biorefinery.

Following the engineering study, the construction of the installations would begin in 2022. Production would begin in 2024, subject to financing and public authorisations.


Total and Hanwha (174 Power Global), Korea's solar project development subsidiary in the United States, have formed a 50/50 joint venture to install 12 solar power and storage plants in the United States with a total capacity of 1.6 GWp.

The American company brings in its project portfolio. Total its capital.



From RES, CVE buys three solar power plant projects totalling 35 MWp. This brings to 140 MWp the cumulative power that CVE will commission in the next 12 months.
