26.5% efficiency on a perovskite-silicon tandem cell

The Swiss research centre CSEM achieved an efficiency of 26.5% on a 4 cm² perovskite-silicon tandem cell, using

screen-printed metallization in accordance with industrial standards. They used a single-sided textured silicon heterojunction (HJT) cell and a mixed halide perovskite deposited on top.

This progress comes from the interface between the two cells, where an organic passivation layer has been placed. The open circuit voltage of the device reaches 1.86V.
