The Courant Naturel installer makes use of large quantities for the residential sector.

The Toulouse-based SME Courant Naturel offers a PV installation for self-consumption with sale of the surplus. Its originality is that it groups orders together to obtain panels and components at a reduced price. The 1st operation

launched in 2017 collects 220 customers. That of 2020, brings together 420 candidates in spite of the confinement and Covid, i.e. 30% more than the 2019 campaign. The 2021 campaign, launched on 7 December, hopes to reach 500 customers (+20% over 2020).

Courant Naturel has selected a small number of installation configurations and is taking care of everything, right up to the administrative procedures for connection, obtaining the Consuel, commissioning by Enedis, and signing the buy-back contract with EDF OA. The 2021 offer offers six different configurations depending on the power to be installed. Here is the smallest and the largest configuration proposed:

- 2.46 kWp with 6 Sunpower Maxeon 5 panels of 410 Wp nominal power and 6 iQ7A Enphase micro inverters integrated into the panel for €5,060 including tax, i.e. €4,125 once public aid for self-consumption photovoltaic installations has been deducted,

- 6.15 kWp, 15 modules and 15 micro-inverters for €10,560 including tax, i.e. €8,838 after deduction of public aid.

In just a few years the company has completed 1,000 installations in a bundled offer, mainly in the Toulouse region. The rate of self-consumption reaches an average of 50% (between 30% and 80%) without any automatic management system or electricity storage.

Since November 2020, Toulouse Métropole has been offering additional support for photovoltaic installations in the 37 municipalities it covers. With this aid, the 6.15 kWp bundle, offered at €10,560 including VAT, therefore costs the customer only €6,198.

Editor's note The formula adopted is effective because it allows you to take advantage of medium-large series, to organise the installation by grouping the sites together, and to avoid dead time between two installations. This formula is the right one for France to cover itself with panels on residential roofs.
