Hydro-Quebec launches into storage systems

Hydro-Quebec has just created a subsidiary (named EVLO) that designs, sells and operates lithium-iron-phosphate energy storage systems. A first contract

has just been signed with the Canadian Innergex Renewable Energy to install a 9 MWh storage facility in Burgundy Franche-Comté (Tonnerre project)

The project will contribute to the stability of the network during periods of tension (extreme cold, limited production facilities).

Innergex develops, acquires and operates renewable energy facilities. The Group is present in Canada, the United States, France and Chile and has an installed capacity of 3.7 GW.
