Engie to install a solar power plant for chemist Yara

The Norwegian chemist Yara uses natural gas in Australia to produce hydrogen. This is transformed

into methane with the nitrogen in the air thanks to the steam, then into ammonia (NH3). This process produces a lot of greenhouse gases and carbon. Engie is going to install a 10 MW photovoltaic plant that will produce energy that will break down water into hydrogen and oxygen. The new unit will be operational in 2030.
