Three VDMA predictions
The German Engineering Association, VDMA, believes that
- solar panels could reach a surface area of 4 m² ;
- three wafer sizes are likely to dominate the market in the coming years, 166 mm (M6), 182 mm (M10), and 210 mm (M12);
- the learning curve for PV is currently at 23.5%, mainly because global shipments of solar panels have decreased slightly due to, among other things, the coronavirus pandemic.
