Soon to have a silicon industry in India?

Indian state-owned companies could be commissioned to set up silicon manufacturing facilities to

to further integrate the domestic manufacture of solar panels. Initial plans call for a production capacity of 10 GW of ingots and wafers. This project would avoid dependence on fluctuating Chinese prices.
