For October, Longi and Tongwei have published the prices of platelets and cells.
For October, Longi and Tongwei have published the prices of wafers and solar cells. They remained virtually unchanged from those of September.
Longi has fixed the price of its p-type wafers,
182 x 247 mm of M10 size at 3.9 RMB (US$0.57) per piece; its M6 166 x 223 mm wafers cost 3.25 RMB per piece; its M2 158.75 x 223 mm wafers are 3.1 RMB per piece, as in August.
Tongwei has priced the 158.75mm and 166mm single crystal PERC cells at 0.97 RMB/W. The price of 157 mm multi-crystalline cells with diamond wire cutting increased by two fens to 0.62 RMB/W.
The importance of the production of these two manufacturers explains why they set the prices for the profession.
