Sunscreens for greenhouses
The French company Solar Cloth has developed a PV screen for solar greenhouses. The screen consists of two films, one made of CIGS (copper, indium, gallium and selenium), the other of amorphous silicon germanium (a-SIGe).
Both films are placed in flexible textiles that offer complete protection to the solar panels. They can be rolled up or unrolled according to the plants' need for sunlight.
