Temporary closure of a silicon plant in Tongwei

Tongwei has had to temporarily close its 20,000-tonne polysilicon plant in the Sichuan town of Leshan, following

to a flood warning.

Tongwei and LONGi have increased their prices in recent months due to seasonal demand for silicon in the second half of the year and incidents at production plants (at GCL-Poly/JZS and Daqo).
