Hitachi acquires ABB's e-mobility and energy storage assets from ABB
By acquiring 80% of ABB's Power Grids business, Hitachi strengthens its position in e-mobility and energy storage. It develops its activities
in the field of electric trains and buses, industrial energy management, smart cities, energy storage and software solutions. This acquisition represents a business volume of $10 billion.
This follows its acquisition of the electrical networks business. Hitachi is therefore focusing on the transition from nuclear power plants to power grids.
