Evolution of coal towards renewable energies
More and more electricity companies are switching directly from coal to renewables without using gas as a transitional stage. Many examples are already emerging in the United States. The companies
are motivated by the lower cost of renewable electricity compared to coal and gas, and by climate concerns.
