A much cheaper hybrid glass
Indian scientists have developed a hybrid glass production method, combining a wire mesh
and a metal oxide layer on a glass substrate, which they say reduces production costs by 80% compared to the tin-doped indium oxide technology currently in use.
This glass reduces the cost of producing devices such as smart windows and touch screens.
