What is the respective efficiency of onshore and offshore panels?

The University of Utrecht (The Netherlands) sought to determine the merits of a floating solar installation in the North Sea compared to a land-based installation in terms of energy productivity (not cost). This is a simulation and not a physical installation of installations.
