In search of lead-free perovskite cells.

German scientists from the HZB and Chinese scientists from the University of Soochow have developed an additive that has significantly improved the performance of a tin-based perovskite solar cell. They

achieved an efficiency of 9.1%. This is still far below the efficiency achieved by perovskite with lead.
