Russian Hevel produces HJT cells
The Russian company Hevel has started to produce heterojunction solar cells with mono wafers of type N and type C.
M2 + format (157.35 mm), providing a power of 5.9 Wp. The power of the panels reaches 330 Wp with 60 cells and 390 Wp for the 72 cells. M2 format cells would have a maximum efficiency rate of 23.8%, while the average is 23.3%.
The company is studying the transition to the M6 format (166 mm). The cell would then deliver 6.71 Wp. Hevel wants to increase its solar cell and panel assembly capacity from 260 MW at the end of 2019 to 340 MW in 2020.
