25.7% tandem cells presented by KAUST

Saudi Arabian University KAUST presented a perovskite-silicon tandem cell with an efficiency of 25.7%, with a low loss of performance after a thermal stability test.

The cell was manufactured by combining upper solution-treated perovskite cells of micrometer thickness with lower heterojunction cells of fully textured silicon.
