Flexible CIGS solar cell with an efficiency of 20.4%.
Koreans from the KIER Institute obtained a flexible CIGS solar cell with an efficiency of 20.4%. This is close to the record
of 20.8% obtained by the Swiss EMPA. As they used a plastic substrate, they used a new low-temperature film-forming technology (instead of the usual 550° Celsius deposition process).
