Silicon production at Hanwha ceases

Korea's Hanwha will stop producing silicon at the end of 2020 because its electricity cost is too high

compared to its Chinese competitors, which does not allow it to sell its silicon at the market price, which is less than $10/kg.

Hanwha's current production capacity is 15,000 tonnes per year.

Is this the end of Korean silicon? Beware danger!
