Another technique for developing IBC solar cells

In testing a multitude of new processes and materials to develop interdigitated back-contact solar cells, German researchers have used "hot-wire" chemical vapour deposition technology.

This would provide excellent passivation without the need for treatments such as recrystallisation or hydrogenation. They would have achieved a yield of 26.6% of the cell
