Engie sells assets in India for financial resources

Engie sells its majority stake (74% of the capital) in part of an Indian solar portfolio. It sells 813 MW

corresponding to 12 projects, amounting to 1.5 GW. The Frenchman retains management of the operations and maintenance of these power plants. The buyer is a subsidiary of the investment company Edelweiss Group.

This sale enables capital to be recovered for reinvestment in Indian solar energy.
