25% of France's electricity consumption comes from renewables in the 2nd quarter

In France, the coverage rate of renewable energies exceeds 25% (exactly 25.5%) in the 2nd quarter of 2019. This is due to the increase in the renewable generation fleet by 578 MW in the 2nd quarter, bringing the total cumulative power to 52.2 GW. This figure breaks down into 49% hydroelectricity, 30% wind power and 17% solar power. It supplied 27.1 TWh.
