Germany sets a target of 98 GW of solar energy by 2030

The German government has just approved a target of 98 GW of solar energy by 2030, twice the current installed capacity. This

will generate 90 TWh of solar energy by 2030.

The German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar) stressed that further improvements and rapid legislative changes are urgently needed to make this ambition a reality.
