Raising of purchase prices for residential property in Luxembourg

In Luxembourg, the feed-in tariff for solar installations of less than 10 kW has been increased by 36%.

since 23 April to reach €0.165 per kWh over fifteen years. Solar systems below 30 kW benefit from PRIMe House incentives and feed-in tariffs.

All systems from 200 kW to 500 kW used by cooperatives and civil organisations will receive a tariff of €0.14 per kWh.

Another aspect of the overhaul of the incentive scheme has been to simplify the procedures for installing photovoltaic systems or upgrading solar assets.

These measures are aimed at developing electricity production because the duchy of Luxembourg is heavily dependent on German or French imports. The installed capacity at the end of 2018 was only 150 MW, of which 30 MW was installed last year. In 2018, renewable energies only contributed to 8% of electricity needs.
